Porsche Cars North America Appoints Martin Peters to Media Relations PostATLANTA, Jan. 26 -- Porsche Cars North America, Inc., this month appointed Martin Peters to the post of Media Relations Manager. He will report to Robert Carlson, General Manager, Public Relations, and assume a variety of responsibilities at the company's Atlanta, Ga., headquarters. Formerly of Michelin North America, Peters has a broad background in public relations and experience in corporate and brand communication. A specialist in automotive performance, Peters designed and implemented programs to boost the performance image of Michelin and BFGoodrich brand tires. In addition, he supported the French tire manufacturer's circuit and off-road motorsports efforts. Prior to holding positions in public relations, Peters worked as feature editor for Road & Track Specials and as head writer for Maryland Public Television's "MotorWeek." He holds a Master of Liberal Arts from University of Baltimore, where he studied writing and graphic design, and a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication from Towson University.
