Northeast Ohio RV Dealer Open, Optimistic After Weather-Related IncidentHARTVILLE, Ohio, Jan. 26 -- After 28 years of owning a recreation vehicle dealership in the same location, the Pastore family thought they had seen both stormy and sunny skies at Hartville RV Center. However, when the weight of snow from a recent snowstorm caused their showroom roof to collapse on January 15, the winter of 1999 struck like a hurricane. No injuries are reported since the last person vacated the showroom 20 minutes before it collapsed. According to Jeff Pastore, vice-president of Hartville RV, the damage to the showroom and its contents appears to be total, and insurance adjusters have not yet determined a total value of the loss. Despite this episode, Hartville RV Center intends to keep the dealership open during the reconstruction so that their customers can continue to receive the same high level of service they have come to expect. Pastore says that, "Recreation vehicle owners are among the best people in the world, and our family appreciates the concern and support that our customers and community have given us during this crisis." Hartville RV Center features folding camping trailers, fifth-wheel travel trailers, truck campers and conventional travel trailers. In business at 540 South Prospect Avenue for 28 years, Hartville RV Center has earned numerous national awards for sales and customer service excellence.
