Cytec Announces Acquisition of Specialty Chemical Industrial Minerals Product Line

    WEST PATERSON, N.J.--Jan. 25, 1999--Cytec Industries Inc. announced today the acquisition of Nottingham Co.'s specialty chemical industrial minerals product line. This business had annual revenues of approximately $4 million in 1998. The acquisition cost was approximately $4 million.
    Cytec Industries Inc. is a vertically integrated specialty chemical company which focuses on value-added specialty products. The company develops, manufactures and markets specialty chemicals, specialty materials and building block chemicals servicing a broad group of end users, including aerospace, plastic, coatings, mining and paper, water treatment and automotive industries.
