    DETROIT, Jan. 22 -- Former Ford PR chief David Scott thought
he could retire quietly, slip out of town and forget those of us who made his
life ... well ... interesting.
    Fat chance.
    Here's the perfect opportunity to set the record straight.
    The APA will honor David at a reception from 6-9 p.m., Thursday, January
28, at the Detroit Athletic Club.  Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be
served.  The charge for this event is $20 for APA members and their guests.
Coat and tie required for men.  Park in the DAC garage.
