Visteon Taps New President for Aftermarket Climate Control Systems CompanyDEARBORN, Mich., Jan. 22 -- Visteon Automotive Systems continues to build its aftermarket organization by appointing William G. Klehm III president of Visteon Climate Control Systems Limited (formerly ARS, Inc.). Klehm most recently served as programs development manager for Visteon Global Aftermarket Operations. He joined Ford in 1985 and held a variety of posts with the Ford Customer Service Division, including several marketing staff positions, office operations manager of the Detroit Region and parts and service zone manager for the New Orleans market. Visteon acquired the Buffalo, NY-based ARS, Inc. in December 1998. The company assembles and distributes radiators, heater cores, condensers and other aftermarket climate control equipment for a wide range of vehicle makes and models. "The integration of ARS into the Visteon Climate Control program is a critical component in our overall aftermarket growth strategy," said David Peace, director of Visteon Global Aftermarket Operations. "Bill has tremendous experience in crafting integrated marketing and product programs that will help drive our customer's business." "Visteon Climate Control Systems Limited provides us with a substantial foundation to build a climate control aftermarket business," Klehm said. "We plan to build our customer base and provide replacement radiators, condensors and heater parts for virtually all vehicle makes and models in North America." Born in 1962, Klehm earned his bachelor's degree in marketing and management in 1984 from Northwood University in Midland, Mich. Visteon has 82,000 employees and 120 manufacturing, engineering, sales and technical centers located in 21 countries. Visteon's corporate headquarters is located in Dearborn, Mich.
