Federal-Mogul Awarded Total Engine Sealing Package For New DaimlerChrysler EngineSOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 20 -- Federal-Mogul Corporation today announced the company has been awarded its first total engine sealing package. The new engine being developed by DaimlerChrysler is scheduled to launch in model year 2003. The estimated contract value is approximately $30 million annually. The new DaimlerChrysler engine will contain approximately 25 different applications, which Federal-Mogul Corporation will be responsible for sealing.
