Miracom Corporation Announces Advertising Agreement With New England's Largest Ford, Dodge and Kia Dealership
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla., Jan. 19 -- Miracom Corporation
, a provider of Internet-based business and online buying
solutions, today announced that its advertising division has been named agency
of record for the Pride Auto Super Mall in North Attleboro, Mass. Pride Auto
Super Mall is the largest Ford, Dodge & Kia dealership in New England.
Pride's advertising expenditures topped $2 million in 1998. Additional terms
of the agreement were not disclosed.
"We interviewed six of the top automotive ad agencies in the country and
selected Miracom," says Joe Hajjar, General Manager of Pride Auto Super Mall.
"Miracom had superior creative concepts and an intense knowledge of our market
and how to maximize the return on our advertising investment." Miracom
Interactive currently handles Pride's website interests and development.
"Pride currently operates eight franchises out of three store clusters in
South Eastern Massachusetts. Each cluster has their own agenda and
idiosyncrasies. Miracom demonstrated an understanding of these factors and I
believe that is why we were awarded with the contract," said Jeff Odato,
Miracom's Senior Executive Vice President. "This area of the country is
extremely aggressive in automobile retailing and our plan clearly demonstrated
how to increase consumer awareness and ultimately captivate more market share
for the group. Due to the demographic diversity of the region, Pride is a
perfect candidate for the MiraTouch Research Kiosk which we have planned for
release at the end of the First Quarter," concluded Mr. Odato.
Miracom Corporation is a provider of Internet-based business and online
buying solutions. Miracom has created and developed web-enabled products such
as Miratouch(TM), a proprietary system for the provision of online research
and real-time data gathering services; Epolicy(TM), a web-enabled back-end
software for insurance companies; QuickQuote 2000(TM), the front end
compliment to Epolicy(TM), is a web-enabled insurance quoting solution and
"theparts.com(TM)" an e-commerce shopping and business to business solution
that is geared to revolutionize the $200 billion automotive parts industry.
