Federal-Mogul Announces Organizational Structure Ignition ProductsSOUTHFIELD, Mich., Jan. 18 -- David Krohn, vice president, Worldwide Ignition Products, Federal-Mogul Corporation , announces the following organizational structure for Ignition Products with the following appointments effective immediately: * Keith Cadaret, director of original equipment sales * Robert Matz, vice president, operations * G. Alphonso Tagle, controller * Daniel Tribble, director of product technology The following individuals will provide shared services to both Ignition Products and Powertrain Systems - Americas: * Douglas Hollis, director of finance, Powertrain Systems - Americas and Ignition Products * William (Tripp) Martin, manager, Powertrain Systems quality, Corporate Quality * Rick O'Neal, director of human resources, Powertrain Systems - Americas and Ignition Products * Anthony Tomczak, director of purchasing, Powertrain Systems - Americas and Ignition Products * Gregory Zimmer, marketing manager, Powertrain Systems - Americas and Ignition Products Keith Cadaret, Director, Original Equipment Sales Keith Cadaret will continue in his role as director, original equipment sales. Cadaret joined Cooper Automotive in 1977. Prior to his current assignment, Cadaret held the positions of original equipment account executive and manager, original equipment sales. Cadaret earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in industrial psychology from the University of Toledo, Ohio. Robert Matz, Vice President, Operations Robert Matz will continue in his role as vice president, operations. Matz has responsibility for the Americas, Asia Pacific and European operations. Matz joined Cooper Automotive in 1970. He has held various general manager and vice president positions throughout his career with the organization. Matz earned a Master's of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan and a Master of Science degree and Bachelor of Science degree in ceramic engineering from Ohio State University. Matz announces Steve Straub will continue in his role as director of operations -- Europe, reporting to Matz. Straub has responsibility for the manufacturing facilities in Carpi, Italy; Casarza, Italy; Naas, Ireland; and Upton, England. Straub has been with Cooper Automotive since 1980. Prior to his current position, Straub was general manager, aviation operations. Straub has also held other key positions in original equipment manufacturing marketing and product development. Straub earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan. G. Alfonso Tagle, Controller Alfonso Tagle has been appointed controller, Ignition Products. Tagle joined Federal-Mogul in 1987. Prior to this appointment, Tagle was administration manager with the El Paso/Juarez facility. He has held a variety of financial positions each with increasing responsibility at the El Paso, Texas; Jacksonville, Alabama; Juarez, Mexico; Logansport, Indiana; and Southfield, Michigan facilities. Tagle earned a Master of International Management degree from the American Graduate School of International Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and accounting from the University of the Americas. Daniel Tribble, Director of Product Technology Dan Tribble has been appointed director of product technology. Tribble began his career with Champion in 1971 and has held a variety of engineering and engineering management positions. Tribble earned a Master of Science degree in nuclear physics and a Bachelor of Science degree in math and physics from Eastern Kentucky University. The following individuals will provide shared services to both Ignition Products and Powertrain Systems - Americas: Doug Hollis, Director, Finance, Powertrain Systems - Americas & Ignition Products Doug Hollis will continue in his role of director of finance, Powertrain Systems - Americas. In this role, Hollis will provide financial support for both the Ignition Products and Powertrain Systems - Americas organizations. Prior to this appointment, Hollis was manufacturing controller with responsibilities for the Americas and World Trade. Since joining Federal- Mogul in 1972, Hollis has progressed through various key accounting management positions in St. Johns, Michigan; Greensburg, Indiana; and in various positions within Southfield. Hollis earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio and a Bachelor's degree in industrial management from Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, Michigan. William (Tripp) Martin, Manager, Powertrain Systems Quality, Corporate Quality Tripp Martin will continue in his role as manager, Powertrain Systems quality, Corporate Quality. In this role, Martin provides quality support to both the Ignition Products and Powertrain Systems organizations. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul in 1998, Martin was director of quality with Peterson American Corporation/Peterson Spring. Martin earned a M.A.R. degree from Westminster Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Rick O'Neal, Director, Human Resources, Powertrain Systems - Americas & Ignition Products Rick O'Neal will continue in his role as director, human resources, Powertrain Systems - Americas. In this role, O'Neal will provide human resources support to both the Ignition Products and Powertrain Systems - Americas organizations. Prior to this appointment, O'Neal was human resources manager - U.S. Manufacturing. O'Neal joined Federal-Mogul in 1986 and has held positions of increasing responsibility at the Malden, Missouri and the Southfield and St. Johns, Michigan plants. O'Neal earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Southwest Missouri University. Anthony Tomczak, Director, Purchasing, Powertrain Systems - Americas & Ignition Products Tony Tomczak will continue in his role as director, purchasing, Powertrain Systems - Americas. In this position, Tomczak will provide purchasing support for both Ignition Products and Powertrain Systems - Americas. Prior to this appointment, Tomczak held the position of director of purchasing, manufacturing operations. He began his career with Federal-Mogul in 1994 as sourcing manager. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, he held the position of senior research buyer with Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. Tomczak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University, Indiana. Gregory Zimmer, Marketing Manager Greg Zimmer has recently been appointed marketing manager. In this position, Zimmer will provide marketing support for both Powertrain Systems - Americas and Ignition Products. Zimmer joined Cooper Automotive in 1996 as director, original equipment manufacturing sales and marketing. Zimmer was previously employed with Mitsubishi as manager, sales/marketing and logistics. Zimmer earned a Master's of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
