GREENWICH, Conn.--Jan. 12, 1999--Tenneco announced today that its board of directors has scheduled the corporation's annual meeting of shareowners for 10:30 a.m. (eastern time), Tuesday, May 11, 1999 at the company's corporate headquarters, 1275 King Street, in Greenwich, Connecticut.The record date for shareowners to vote at the meeting is March 19, 1999.
