Rich Coast Begins Service to BFI-Ford ContractDEARBORN, Mich., Jan. 7 -- The following is a statement from Robert W. Truxell, Chairman of Rich Coast Inc.: As stated in an October 28, 1998 press release, Rich Coast Inc. received approval from BFI to provide vendor services to BFI's tier one waste services program with Ford Motor Company . BFI requires all vendors to their automotive program to pass a strict audit and to provide services to their exacting standards. Rich Coast has initiated direct service to the program, accepting non-hazardous industrial wastes from two Ford plants on December 23, 1998. To date Rich Coast has received 10 additional shipments from these plants and is working with BFI personnel to increase the number of plants using its services. "As Rich Coast earns additional business providing recycling and disposal services to this unique program, we expect hard earned long term revenues to result," said Dave Johnson, director of sales and marketing. "We worked very hard to develop this business, and we are in this for the long haul," Johnson added. Rich Coast Inc. provides cutting edge treatment services for virtually all non-hazardous industrial and commercial wastes at its 20-acre facility in the heart of Detroit's heavily industrial auto manufacturing center. Capabilities include hard-to-treat oil processing, bio remediation, waste water treatment, high capacity shredding and laboratory services. Visit our website at http://www.richcoastinc.com.
