Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycle Manufacturing Company Announces Production of The First 1999 Super X and Plans for the Production Ramp-Up and Initial Shipments During January 1999

    BELLE PLAINE, Minn., Dec. 30 -- Excelsior-Henderson
Motorcycle Manufacturing Company today announced that it has
produced Excelsior-Henderson 1999 Super X Commemorative Serial #0001 which was
immediately delivered to the Excelsior-Henderson Heritage Motorcycle Museum.
Production of the first 1999 Super X motorcycle is a historic event that
coincides with the anniversary of the founding of the Company five years ago.
The Company plans to begin production of the 1999 Super X during the first
half of January 1999 with anticipated initial shipments to the Excelsior-
Henderson dealers during the second half of January.
    "On December 7, 1998, we celebrated the beginning of "pre-production
build" of the 1999 Super X.  We completed the first non-serialized Super X
motorcycle built by the Excelsior-Henderson Road Crew assembly team on our
technologically-advanced motorcycle production line," stated the Co-Founders,
Dan, Dave and Jennie Hanlon.  "We now commemorate the production of Serial
#0001, the first 1999 Super X motorcycle, on the five-year anniversary of the
founding of the 'new' Excelsior-Henderson.  Next we move to the ramp-up of our
production process and anticipate initial shipments to Excelsior-Henderson
dealers during the second half of January 1999," the Hanlon's also stated.
    Excelsior-Henderson Motorcycle Manufacturing Company is a pre-revenue
company which plans to manufacture, market and sell premium heavyweight
American cruisers and touring motorcycles, as well as related parts, apparel
and accessories branded with a name that evokes an authentic American
