    LISLE, Ill., Dec. 24 -- Only at Budget can you drive in the
new year with a Ford Ranger pickup for only $19.99 per weekend day at
participating Budget airport locations across the U.S., effective December 26,
1998, through January 16, 1999.
    To qualify for this special unlimited mileage rate, customers must request
rate code: MR at the time of reservation.  This offer is not available in New
York.

    Economy Through Full Size Car: $24.99 / Day
    Other New Year's offers include economy through full size cars for just
$24.99 per day at participating Budget airport locations, including unlimited
mileage.  Customers must request rate code: MR at the time of reservation.
This offer is effective from December 26, 1998, through January 3, 1999, and
is not available in New York, Florida, Phoenix, Denver, Savannah, Charleston
and Reno.

California vehicle license fee not to exceed $1.12 per day.  Weekend rental
periods begin at noon on Thursday and vehicle must be returned by midnight
Monday.  These rates are not combinable with CorpRate, government rates,
tour/wholesale rates, or any other promotion, discount or offer.  Taxes,
surcharges, additional driver fee and optional items, such as refueling, are
extra.  An airport concession fee may apply at some airports.  Vehicle must be
returned to renting location except where otherwise permitted.  Local rental
and age requirements apply.  Locations that rent to drivers under age 25 may
impose a surcharge.
