ASA Tire Systems President Named Chairman Elect of TANA's Supplier's Group
    NASHUA, N.H., Dec. 18 -- ASA Tire Systems, an ASA
Internationl Ltd. company , announced today that Wayne Croswell,
President of ASA Tire Systems, is the new Chairman Elect of the Supplier's
Group of the Tire Association of North America (TANA).  Mr. Croswell has been
a member of the Supplier's Group Executive Committee since 1995. TANA is the
North American voice for the tire industry by lobbying for regulation and
safety standards to make tires and road travel safer and providing educational
programs to promote the profitability of tire businesses.
    According to Don Hunter, Chairman of the Supplier Group, and the President
of G.E. Capital Leasing, "I would like to congratulate Wayne on his
appointment. His experience and willingness to cooperate, along with his
enthusiasm, qualifies him as an excellent candidate for the position.  I look
