George ``Bing'' Harding Elected Group Vice President, CTS Corporation
ELKHART, Ind.--Dec. 18, 1998--George "Bing" Harding has been elected to Group Vice President, CTS Corporation according to an announcement today by Joseph P. Walker, CTS Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.Since 1996, Mr. Harding has served as Vice President and General Manager for the CTS Microelectronics business unit, West Lafayette, Indiana.
"We are excited to have Bing Harding join our Corporate senior management team," said Joseph P. Walker, CTS' Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "We believe his knowledge of CTS' businesses, markets and technologies and his electronics industry experience will enable him to play a key role in the execution of our strategic plan," Walker said.
Mr. Harding began his career with Siemens Corporation (Dickson Electronics), in 1967, where he served in increasingly responsible positions advancing to Operations Manager, Tantalum Capacitors. In 1982, he joined Bourns Networks, Inc., Logan, Utah, as Vice President/General Manager and, in 1985, was promoted to President, Bourns Networks and named Corporate Vice President, Bourns, Inc., Riverside, California. In 1990, Mr. Harding was named President, Bourns Trimpot Division and Senior Corporate Vice President, Bourns, Inc. From 1991, until his joining CTS, he was Operations Manager and General Manager of Dale Electronics, subsidiary of Vishay Intertechnology, Norfolk facility. Mr. Harding completed his undergraduate degree, in 1981, at the University of Phoenix.
Mr. Harding joined CTS, in 1993, as Vice President and General Manager of CTS Corporation Resistor Networks, Berne, Indiana.
Mr. Harding and his family will be relocating to Elkhart from West Lafayette.
