Federal-Mogul Promotes Frank Garcia, General Manager, Weston International Distribution Center
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Dec. 18 -- Michael L. Schultz, vice
president, national accounts - Americas, Worldwide Aftermarket, Federal-Mogul
Corporation , announces the appointment effective immediately of
Frank Garcia to the position of general manager at the company's Weston
international distribution center located in Florida.  Garcia will report
directly to Schultz.
    "We are very pleased to have Frank's experience and talent at the Weston
facility, a key to our Latin America export operations," said Schultz.
"Frank's long-time tenure with Federal-Mogul will bring an enhanced focus on
sales and customer service."
    Prior to this appointment, Garcia held the position of manager, sales and
administration, Weston.  Frank began his career at Federal-Mogul in 1985 and
has had increased responsibility in sales and marketing operations in Boston,
Massachusetts; Houston, Texas; and Weston, Florida.
    Garcia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from
Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island.
