Snap-on Incorporated Names Sharon M. Brady Vice President, Human Resources

    KENOSHA, Wis.--Dec. 16, 1998--Snap-on Incorporated announced today that it has named Sharon M. Brady vice president, human resources. She will be responsible for all aspects of the company's worldwide human resources function, including long-range human resources planning, executive succession planning and compensation activities.
    William R. Whyte has been named vice president--human resources, North America for Snap-on Tools Company. Whyte joined Snap-on in 1979.
    Brady brings to Snap-on broad-based human resources experience in the development and execution of global human resources strategies. She also has considerable experience with the global workforce. Brady most recently was vice president--human resources for the home services division of Sears Roebuck & Company, Hoffman Estates, Ill. Prior to joining Sears, Brady served in various executive positions at Baxter International of Deerfield, Ill.
    Brady received her bachelor of arts degree in education in 1972 from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan.
