Penske Auto Centers Sign Exclusive TRANSTECH Deal

    SANTA ANA, Calif.--Dec. 16, 1998--MotorVac Technologies Inc. Wednesday announced that Penske Auto Centers has signed an exclusive agreement to use the company's TRANSTECH automatic transmission fluid exchanger.
    The agreement, between Snap-on Tools Co. and Penske Auto Centers, includes all North American locations. TRANSTECH is manufactured by MotorVac and distributed by Snap-on Tools.
    "We hope this TRANSTECH agreement between Penske, Snap-on and MotorVac is the blueprint for a successful partnership," said Lee Melody, president and chief executive officer of MotorVac. "We are proud that Penske chose our system after an extensive testing and evaluation of several brands."
    TRANSTECH is one of the first ATF exchangers developed that includes a drain pan function (for ease of filter exchange) and a complete adapter kit -- allowing technicians to service most vehicles.
