Federal-Mogul Announces Organizational Structure For Powertrain Systems - Americas GroupSOUTHFIELD, Mich., Dec. 15 -- Michael C. Verwilst, vice president, Powertrain Systems - Americas, Federal-Mogul Corporation , announces the new organizational structure for the Powertrain Systems - Americas Group with the following appointments effective immediately: * Doug Hollis, director, finance * Richard Levin, vice president, manufacturing operations * Graeme Nicol, director of technology * Rick O'Neal, director of human resources * Randall Patton, vice president, sales and application engineering * Ray Quatrochi, Jr., director, product technology, automotive * Tony Tomczak, director, purchasing * Keri Westbrooke, director of product technology, heavy-duty Doug Hollis, Director, Finance, Powertrain Systems - Americas Doug Hollis will continue in his role as director, finance, Powertrain Systems - Americas. Prior to this appointment, Hollis was manufacturing controller with responsibilities for the Americas and World Trade. Since joining Federal- Mogul in 1972, Hollis has progressed through various key accounting management positions in several business units including St. Johns, Michigan, Greensburg, Indiana, and various positions within Southfield. He has held the position of controller since 1984. Hollis earned a Master of business administration degree from Xavier University, and a Bachelor's degree in industrial management from Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, Michigan. Richard Levin ,Vice President, Manufacturing Operations, Powertrain Systems - Americas Rick Levin has been appointed vice president, manufacturing operations, Powertrain Systems - Americas. Levin will have responsibility for all manufacturing locations of Powertrain Systems Group in North and South America. Specifically, these are: La Plata, Argentina; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Puebla, Mexico; La Grange, Georgia; Flowery Branch, Georgia; Sumter, South Carolina; Orangeburg, South Carolina; Blacksburg, Virginia; Malden, Missouri; South Bend, Indiana; Windsor, Ontario; St. Johns, Michigan; Greenville, Michigan; Sparta, Michigan; Manitowoc, Wisconsin; Wausau, Wisconsin; Germantown, Wisconsin; and Lake City, Minnesota. Levin's most recent assignment was director, automotive manufacturing operations. Prior to joining Federal-Mogul, Levin was general manager of Alumni-Tech's Kentucky manufacturing operations. Levin also held prior positions with Federal-Mogul as plant manager at the Blacksburg, Virginia, engine bearing facility and as plant manager for the Greensburg, Indiana, ball bearing facility. Levin held a number of manufacturing positions at OMC prior to joining Federal-Mogul in 1994. Levin earned a business diploma from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management in Lake Forest, Illinois. Graeme Nicol, Director of Technology, Powertrain Systems - Americas Graeme Nicol will continue in his role of director of technology, Powertrain Systems - Americas. Nicol has held a succession of positions of increasing responsibilities in manufacturing since joining Federal-Mogul in 1987. Responsibilities in the Engine and Transmission Products Group include director, global manufacturing engineering and manager, technical center for the research and development facility located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Nicol earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Glasgow University in Glasgow, United Kingdom. Rick O'Neal, Director of Human Resources, Powertrain Systems - Americas Rick O'Neal will continue in his role of director of human resources, Powertrain Systems - Americas. Prior to this appointment, O'Neal was human resources manager - U.S. Manufacturing. O'Neal joined Federal-Mogul in 1986 and had held positions of increasing responsibility at the Malden, Missouri and St. Johns, Michigan plants before moving in 1995 to Southfield as human resources manager for engine and transmission products and general products. O'Neal earned a Bachelor's degree in management from Southwest Missouri State. Randall Patton, Vice President Sales and Application Engineering, Powertrain Systems - Americas Randy Patton has been appointed vice president, sales and application engineering, Powertrain Systems - Americas. Patton's responsibilities include all automotive, heavy-duty and small engine sales, application engineering and marketing functions. Additionally, Patton will assume responsibility for the systems support work currently being conducted in concert with the Powertrain Systems - Americas sales, engineering and manufacturing functions. Patton's most recent position was director, automotive sales and application engineering. Patton's career at Federal-Mogul has included a variety of manufacturing and sales positions. He started at the St. Johns, Michigan, plant as the materials manager in 1979. Ray Quatrochi Jr., Director of Product Technology, Automotive, Powertrain Systems - Americas Rosario (Ray) Quatrochi Jr. will continue in his role of director, product technology, automotive, Powertrain Systems - Americas. Quatrochi joined Federal-Mogul from Borg Warner Automotive where he served as chief engineer - Precision Forged Products Division. Throughout his career Quatrochi also held various engineering positions with increasing responsibilities with General Motors Powertrain, Transportation Technologies, Inc., and Buick Motor Division. Quatrochi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from General Motors Institute, Flint, Michigan. Tony Tomczak, Director, Purchasing, Powertrain Systems - Americas Tony Tomczak has been appointed director, purchasing, Powertrain Systems - Americas. Prior to this appointment, Tomczak held the position of director of purchasing, manufacturing operations. He began his career with Federal-Mogul in 1994 as sourcing manager. Previous to joining Federal-Mogul, he held the position of senior research buyer with Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. Tomczak earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University. Keri Westbrooke, Director, Product Technology, Heavy-Duty, Powertrain Systems - Americas Keri Westbrooke will continue in his role as director, product technology, heavy-duty, Powertrain Systems - Americas. Prior to this appointment, Westbrooke held various positions in the heavy- duty truck and large bore industrial markets for AE Wellworthy, Goetze Corporation of America, AE Goetze, and Metal Leve, Inc. Westbrooke earned an engineering degree from Portsmouth College in England. William E. Wyllie, Director, Strategic Planning, Powertrain Systems - Americas William E. Wyllie will continue in his role as director, strategic planning, Powertrain Systems - Americas. In this position, Wyllie focuses primarily on supporting Powertrain Systems - Americas with the overall business planning process, strategic acquisitions and accompanying due diligence, working with the group's finance department to design and implement an economic value added (EVA) based power cylinder system pricing model, support strategic marketing initiatives across all Federal-Mogul product groups and support the global Powertrain Systems business where appropriate. Wyllie earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial management from the University of Detroit. Joel Jones, Tri-Way Machine, Ltd. Tri-Way Machine, ltd. will continue to be operated by Joel Jones. Jones will report to Verwilst.
