Federal-Mogul Hosts Mentor Day for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan DetroitSOUTHFIELD, Mich., Dec. 15 -- Instead of hearing a school bell ring on Tuesday, December 15, 1998, 12 Metro Detroit students will experience a typical work day at Federal-Mogul Corporation's World Headquarters during the company's third Mentor Day with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit. The students, ages 12-16, will be paired with Federal-Mogul employee volunteers and spend the day "job shadowing" to help them understand the business environment. The youngsters will also participate in communication, strategic-planning and goal-setting exercises.
