Welsh Joins Bundy Group as Chief Executive
    WARREN, Mich., Dec. 14 -- Allan Welsh has joined Bundy, part
of TI Group, as chief executive of the fluid carrying systems specialist with
interests in both the global automotive and refrigeration industries.
    Formerly chief executive of T&N plc's Piston Products Group, Welsh also
joins TI Group's main board, which has responsibility for Dowty, Forsheda and
John Crane all world leaders in the respective fields of aerospace systems,
engineered elastomer seals and engineered sealing systems.
    During his 24 years at T&N Group, Walsh gained unparalleled experience of
managing both global automotive and other manufacturing operations.
    On his appointment Allan Welsh said, "Bundy is already a highly successful
global organization and there are still extensive opportunities for growth in
our chosen markets.  My goal is to seize upon and maximize these
opportunities, adding further shareholder, customer and employee value."
    John Langston, formerly chief executive of Bundy Automotive since 1997,
has been appointed chief executive of Forsheda Polymer Engineering and also
takes up a main board position within TI Group plc.
    Bundy Group is one of four core specialized engineering businesses of TI
Group, headquartered in Abingdon, England. Others include John Crane, Dowty
and Forsheda Polymer Engineering.  Bundy is a world leader in the manufacture
of specialized small diameter fluid carrying systems for the automotive and
refrigeration industries.  Bundy Group employs over 15,000 people at over 105
manufacturing and customer facilities located in 27 countries.
