SDRC's Imageware Surfacer Wins European Award

    CINCINNATI--Dec. 11, 1998--SDRC , a leading global provider of product development solutions and developer of I-DEAS(TM) and Metaphase(R) Enterprise(TM) software, today announced Imageware(TM) was awarded the top prize for Imageware Surfacer(TM) at the EuroMold '98 International Trade Show, held December 2-5 in Frankfurt, Germany.     To commemorate the fifth anniversary of EuroMold, show management initiated awards to honor the outstanding and exemplary products and services exhibited during the show. Exhibiting companies were divided into four award categories: Software and Services, Machinery, Consulting, and Special Molding Applications. An independent panel of judges evaluated each product or service based on the grade of innovation, ease of use, potential to create new jobs, teamwork, and technology to conserve energy. Out of 1,200 exhibitors Imageware was awarded the top prize in the Software and Services category.

"To be selected for this award brought the Imageware name to the attention of hundreds of people who may not previously have known about us, and it helps differentiate us from our major competitors, all exhibiting at this same show," continued Hagenah.
