Donnelly Welcomes Charlie Pear as New Corporate Treasurer
    HOLLAND, Mich., Dec. 9 -- Charlie Pear has joined Donnelly
Corporation as corporate treasurer, the company announced today.
Pear, 37, brings to Donnelly nearly 15 years of automotive finance experience.
    In his new position, Pear will be responsible for the full range of
treasury functions, including banking, tax, debt management, cash management,
foreign currency strategy and accounts receivable.  In addition, Pear will
provide support for the company's mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures,
and he will be actively involved in supporting investor relations.  He will
report to Scott Reed, Donnelly's chief financial officer.
    "Since meeting Charlie seven years ago, I have continued to be impressed
by his drive, integrity and desire to do what's right for the company," Reed
said.  "He has proven himself in a wide range of finance positions and has
valuable experience in both joint venture and international finance.  I know
he brings to Donnelly the skills and experience the company needs to be a
global competitor in the automotive finance arena."
    Before joining Donnelly, Pear worked in a number of increasingly
responsible positions at Chrysler Corporation.  Most recently, he worked as
the manager of Jeep and Truck Pricing in the sales & marketing finance
department.  Prior to that, he was manager of financial analysis for
Chrysler's European operations.  He also held positions in corporate finance
and securitization, corporate accounting and procurement and supply.
    A native of Detroit, Michigan, Pear has both a bachelor's degree in
economics and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
