NASCAR Trucks: Action Performance to Host Autograph Session with Ron Hornaday

    PHOENIX--(BW SportsWire)--Dec. 7, 1998--Action Performance Companies Inc. (Nasdaq NM:ACTN) will host an autograph session with NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Champion Ron Hornaday, on Thursday, Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in The Pit Stop Shop at Action's 4707 E. Baseline Road facility in Phoenix, located on the corner of Baseline and 48th Street.
    Hornaday arranged to make a special stop in the Valley to meet fans, before attending a NASCAR championship awards banquet in California, where he will be recognized as the 1998 Craftsman Truck Series Champion. Hornaday won the championship title for the first time in 1996, and was voted the 1997 NASCAR Truck Series Most Popular Driver.
    With a racing career spanning 18 years, Hornaday is the all-time short track winner (14 times) and is the Series' most winning driver with 23 racing victories. The Pit Stop Shop store will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. the day of Hornaday's visit.
