Adds Director, Business DevelopmentBELLEVILLE, Mich., Dec. 8 -- With the addition of Doug Sinclair as the newest Director of Business Development, Ricardo, Inc. is poised for business in the New Year. Doug's position will round out the company's strategic approach to opportunities focused in the U.S. Powertrain Industry. On November 16, 1998, Doug Sinclair joined Ricardo, Inc. from Federal- Mogul. Doug brings to Ricardo 21 years of experience in the automotive industry with a background in engine and component design and analysis. As part of the Business Management Group, he will enable Ricardo to progress into the next century with exceptional support to their core management team. His talents and efforts will be geared toward the management of large accounts in the United States and internationally, and will include Tier 1 piston, ring, liner and related engine component suppliers. Doug joined the Ricardo team at their Detroit Technical Center located in Belleville, Michigan, a 36,000 square foot, high specification facility. The Business Management Group combines the efforts of the business development and program management teams within Ricardo. Working together, these teams utilize a strategic approach to meeting the needs of the marketplace and successfully maintaining the quality of service to their clientele. The vision of Ricardo, Inc. is to be the natural first choice provider of technologies and engineering services to the Powertrain and Vehicle markets of North America.
