Motorists Insurance Group Licenses CSC's COLOSSUS SystemAUSTIN, Texas, Dec. 8 -- Computer Sciences Corporation announced that Motorists Mutual-American Hardware Insurance Group, Columbus, Ohio, has licensed CSC's expert system, COLOSSUS, for evaluating bodily injury claims. COLOSSUS is the most comprehensive knowledge-based system used by the insurance industry today. Through interactive consultations, COLOSSUS helps users assimilate and examine facts relevant to bodily injury claims. COLOSSUS accesses more than 10,000 rules to evaluate more than 600 trauma-induced injuries, providing expert guidance for both novice and seasoned claims professionals.
