Goodyear Chooses OptiSystems' Energizer PME for R/3

    NAPLES, Fla., Dec. 8 -- OptiSystems Solutions Ltd.
(Nasdaq: OPTLF, OPTWF), a global leader in enterprise application performance
management software, today announced that The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company
has licensed the first three components of its Energizer PME
(Performance Management Environment) for R/3.  Goodyear has taken delivery of
OptiTrak and will install OptiWatch and OptiGrowth upon their availability in
early 1999.
    OptiSystems' Energizer PME for R/3 is a comprehensive performance
management system that shortens implementation time and improves performance
of R/3 systems.  Energizer PME for R/3 enables organizations of all sizes to
immediately realize the full potential of R/3 by dynamically managing and
enhancing the application's performance in real time.  By identifying,
analyzing and resolving problems as they happen, Energizer PME for R/3

    Energizer PME for R/3 is currently being tested by other companies as

    Energizer PME for R/3 consists of the following four components:
    -- OptiTrak - identifies R/3 problems in real time, analyzes their "root
       cause" and enables immediate resolution to these problems and their
       direct affect on response time.
    -- OptiWatch (planned availability 1/99)- performs database maintenance
       and reconfigures the R/3, database and operating system parameters to
       their optimal settings based on how R/3 is being used.
    -- OptiGrowth (planned availability 1/99)- provides complete service level
       reporting and capacity planning to ensure the efficient management of
       system activity and growth.
    -- OptiManage (planned availability 4/99)- manages, in real time, the R/3
       system to meet the service level requirements and adjusts dynamic R/3
       and database parameters to match the system environment to the actual
       workload being processed.
