Hayes Lemmerz Announces $250 Million Offering of Senior Subordinated Notes
ROMULUS, Mich.--Dec. 8, 1998--Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc. , the world's leading supplier of wheels and brake components to the automotive and commercial highway industries, announced today that it has agreed to issue $250 million in 8-1/4 percent senior-subordinated notes due 2008.The proceeds of these notes will be used to repay outstanding indebtedness under Hayes Lemmerz's existing senior credit facility in anticipation of the company's pending acquisition of CMI International, Inc.
