Introducing Scott S. Daniel, President and Owner of Texas Shuttle

AUSTIN, Texas--Dec. 7, 1998--Scott S. Daniel was raised in a small town in East Texas named Lindale.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy after completion of high school, and underwent rigorous training in nuclear reactor design and operation for nuclear submarines and surface ships.
Upon completion of Naval Nuclear Power School in Orlando, Fla., he was selected by the Navy for a full four-year scholarship. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and received a Bachelor of Arts in Government and became a commissioned officer in the Navy. Daniel served in the Navy for eight years and earned the rank Lieutenant.
In January 1998, Scott S. Daniel started a transportation company in Austin named Texas Shuttle. The company's performance has already ranked it in the top four percent of starting first-year businesses, according to SBA statistics.
Daniel says that the company's goal is to implement efficient new transportation solutions to help ease Austin's numerous traffic problems. Furthermore, Texas Shuttle being a privately held company, these transportation solutions will not require tax dollars to prop them up.
"Growth is inevitable in this beautiful city, and we are going to do everything we can to keep Austin a livable city for her people."
Texas Shuttle provides sedans, limousines, minibuses and motorcoaches for corporate and special event charter services within the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Daniel is currently in the process of coordinating shuttle service with area businesses to the new Bergstrom International Airport beginning in May 1999.
