Subaru of America Appoints New Vice President for Southeast RegionCHERRY HILL, N.J., Dec. 7 -- Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) today announced the appointment of Brad Bradshaw as its new Vice President for the Southeast Region. The appointment is effective today. Bradshaw, a 20-year veteran of the automotive industry, has held a variety of field and management positions with both Ford Motor Company and Nissan Motor Corporation. Most recently, Bradshaw served as Vice President, Marketing for Nissan Motor Corporation. "We're delighted to have someone with Brad's automotive credentials join the Subaru team," said Fred Adcock, vice president, sales for Subaru of America, Inc. "He brings great experience and will help us to develop our presence in the very important southern markets." The Southeast Region (SER) is one of five company owned regions that provide service and support to Subaru dealers across the country. Its territory includes: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia. The territory currently represents about 13% of the company's annual sales volume and has approximately 120 dealers. In his new position, Bradshaw will be responsible for regional sales, dealer relations, market development, and distribution. Subaru of America, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. of Japan. Headquartered near Philadelphia, the company markets and distributes Subaru vehicles, parts and accessories through a network of nearly 600 franchised dealers across the United States.
