Dyson's Fast Growth Wins Weatherhead 100 AwardPAINESVILLE, Ohio, Dec. 7 -- The Dyson Corporation has been selected for the Weatherhead 100 group of fast growing companies. The award, made December 8, 1998, is sponsored by the Weatherhead School of Management of Case Western Reserve University to recognize companies which have achieved outstanding growth. The Dyson Corporation was purchased five years ago by a group headed by Theodore L. Wolf, current President, and "has sustained incredible growth and consequently made a positive economic impact on our Ohio community," said Benjamin R. Keller, a Weatherhead 100 spokesperson. The Dyson Corporation produces forgings and large fasteners. A new division, Dyson Forging Technologies, has high-speed, hot parts formers capable of making up to 85 forgings per minute. This division recently was ISO 9002 certified and has also received the 1998 Lake-Geauga Fast Track 50 award which honors firms that have obtained outstanding business success.
