Nissan Promotes Whitfield Ramonat

Nissan Promotes Whitfield Ramonat to Director of Field Operations for the Nissan Division
    CARSON, Calif., Dec. 3 -- Nissan Motor Corporation U.S.A.
(NMC) recently promoted Whitfield Ramonat to director of field operations for
the Nissan division.  Ramonat, a 12-year veteran of NMC, is responsible for
Nissan's national retail and wholesale vehicle sales, Nissan market
representation and national and regional office coordination issues.
    Since joining Nissan in 1986, Ramonat has held several national and
regional management positions with the Nissan and Infiniti divisions, sales
and marketing, with emphasis in market representation.
    Replacing Ramonat, Mark Christovale was appointed to manager, public
ownership representation.  He is responsible for coordinating Nissan and
Infiniti division's national market representation activities, which include
negotiating and executing dealer agreements; processing dealer buy-sell
packages and ensuring dealer compliance to corporate sales and service
agreements.
    Christovale has been with Nissan for 15 years and has held several
regional and national management positions.  Most recently, Christovale served
as the Infiniti national liaison manager.

all of their activities at Nissan," said Mike Seergy, vice president and
general manager of Nissan division.  "With 27 years of Nissan experience
combined, these two talented individuals will add to the strength of our
management team."

facilities for its design, research and development, manufacturing, sales,
consumer and corporate financing, and marketing operations.  Nearly 70 percent
of the Nissan trucks and cars sold in America are built in America.  Last
year, Nissan purchased more than $4.2 billion in parts and materials from
U.S.-based suppliers.
