Federal-Mogul Announces Automotive Distributor Sales Organization For the North American Aftermarket

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Dec. 3 -- M. H. (Pete) Painter, vice
president, automotive distributor sales, Worldwide Aftermarket, Federal-Mogul
Corporation , announces the following organizational appointments
effective immediately:

    *  Tom Connelly, director, sales - east central
    *  Dave Carter, director, sales - west central
    *  Dan DiTommaso, director, sales - east
    *  Ed Szubielski, director, sales - west
    *  Bill Wind, director, sales and marketing, All Pro/Bumper-To-Bumper

    "This sales management team brings a wealth of experience and product
knowledge to our organization," said Painter.  "They will organize our sales
force to take advantage of synergies between our products and our customer
base.  They are respected by both current customers and prospects in their
areas as leaders who can help grow our customers' business.  I am pleased to
have these individuals as part of our sales team."

    Tom Connelly, Director, Sales - East Central
    Tom Connelly is director, sales - east central.  Prior to joining Federal-
Mogul, Tom was director, sales - central at Cooper Automotive.  Connelly has
25 years experience in the industry in various sales and administrative
management positions.  He came to Cooper with the Champion Spark Plug
acquisition.

    Dave Carter, Director, Sales - West Central
    Dave Carter is director, sales - west central.  Prior to joining Federal-
Mogul, Dave served as director of sales - west at Cooper Automotive.  Dave
started at Moog Automotive in 1983 and has had various sales management
positions.

    Dan DiTommaso, Director, Sales - East
    Dan DiTommaso is director, sales - east.  Prior to joining Federal-Mogul,
Dan was director, sales - east at Cooper Automotive.  DiTommaso began his
aftermarket career with Moog Automotive in 1981 and has held various sales
management positions.

    Ed Szubielski, Director, Sales - West
    Ed Szubielski continues in his current position as director, sales - west.
Szubielski joined Federal-Mogul in 1981.  He has held sales management
positions in the automotive, heavy-duty and industrial markets.

    Bill Wind, Director, Sales and Marketing, All Pro/Bumper-To-Bumper
    Bill Wind is director, sales and marketing, All Pro/Bumper-To-Bumper.
Wind is responsible for the All Pro/BTB sales force.  Prior to joining
Federal-Mogul, Wind served as director, sales and marketing, All Pro/BTB at
Cooper Automotive.  He started with Moog in 1967 and has held various sales
management positions.
