Bonded Motors Names Bill Benson Director of Sales and Marketing -- NAPA

    LOS ANGELES--Dec. 2, 1998--Aaron Landon, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Bonded Motors Inc. , Wednesday announced the appointment of Bill Benson to the newly created position of director of Sales & Marketing
-- NAPA.
    In this position, Benson will oversee and develop Bonded Motors' ongoing relationship with Genuine Parts/NAPA .
    "Bill is a welcome addition to our management team," Landon said. "His experience and knowledge of the Genuine Parts/NAPA programs will help Bonded strengthen its relationship with our newest national customer. Bill's career includes NAPA Distribution Center Sales Management experience, ownership of three NAPA Auto Parts stores, and top sales management positions for two NAPA suppliers."
    Bonded Motors is a remanufacturer of car and light truck engines with headquarters in Los Angeles; manufacturing facilities in California and Georgia; and distribution centers in California, Washington, Colorado, Ohio, New York and Georgia.
    The company's principal customers are automotive parts chain stores, such as Pep Boys -- Manny, Moe and Jack , CSK Automotive (Checkers, Shucks, Kragens) , Paccar Automotive (Grand's and Al's Auto Parts) , and Genuine Parts/NAPA .
