BMW Reports November Sales; Monthly Sales Up 7 Percent
WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J., Dec. 2 -- BMW of North America, Inc.
reported November retail sales of 11,006 automobiles, an increase of
28 percent over the same period last year. Annual sales are up 7 percent, for
a total of 119,398 cars.
"BMW continues its strong sales momentum with another record-breaking
month. We are on track to set another record this year," commented Victor
Doolan, president of BMW of North America.
Land Rover North America, Inc., a member of the BMW Group, also reported
November sales of 1,915 vehicles and year-to-date sales of 19,072.
Consolidated U.S. November sales for the two companies were 12,921 units
(BMW: 11,006; Land Rover: 1,915) and consolidated year-to-date sales of
138,470 vehicles (BMW: 119,398; Land Rover: 19,072).
