DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports International SalesAUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 2 -- DaimlerChrysler Corporation announced that total international sales outside of North America were down 27 percent for the month of November, with 13,761 units sold compared to 18,890 units sold one year ago. Chrysler's European sales were 6,920 units, a seven percent decrease over sales of 7,414 units during the same month last year. Other regions include Latin America, with 3,743 units sold, a 23 percent decrease from last year, Asia Pacific, with 1,807 units sold, a 62 percent decrease and Middle East/Africa, with 1,291 units sold, a 29 percent decrease. Total international sales year-to-date are down 16 percent, with 181,147 vehicles sold in 1998 compared to 215,756 sold during the same period in 1997.
