Audi Achieves Best November Since 1985 With 32 Percent Increase - Best Year to Date Since 1986

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 2 -- Audi of America, Inc. reported
U.S. sales of 4,309 for the month of November, a 32.5 percent increase over
the same month last year when sales were 3,253.  This makes it Audi's best
November since 1985 and best year-to-date since 1986 with total sales of
41,233.
    The models with the greatest sales increases were Audi's A4 sedan and
Avant at 2,237 for the month versus last year's 1,480 vehicles sold, a 51.1
percent increase.  Audi's A6 sedan and Avant models follow with sales of 1,862
for the month of November as compared to last year's sales of 1,505, showing a
23.7 percent increase.  It is noteworthy that the A6 Avant has sold 1,693
units since its introduction in late June.
    Audi has displayed this kind of year-over-previous-year sales increase for
46 of the last 48 months.
