Meguiar's Named Official Car Care Products of Greater Los Angeles Auto Show; Meguiar's Hosts Media Center and Classic Car Expo

    IRVINE, Calif., Dec. 2 -- Meguiar's, Inc., the nation's
premiere surface care product manufacturer, has announced a multi-year
sponsorship agreement with the Greater Los Angeles Auto Show.  The arrangement
includes naming Meguiar's as the Official Car Care Products of the Greater Los
Angeles Auto Show, title rights to the Meguiar's Media Center and a consumer
display of Concours quality vehicles at the Meguiar's Classic Car Expo.
    Additionally, all of the nearly 900 vehicles on display at the show being
held in the Los Angeles Convention Center from January 2 - 10, 1999, will be
cleaned, polished and maintained with Meguiar's products.
    Meguiar's will hold a press conference on Wednesday, December 30 to
discuss its sponsorship of the show and to introduce its new, revolutionary
tire care product, Endurance -- Long Lasting Tire Protectant Gel.
    The company will sponsor Meguiar's Classic Car Expo in Kentia Hall,
complete with Concours-quality vehicles, electronic product information and
displays.  The Expo, covering more than 2,600 square feet, will display
collector cars supplied by 'Le Cercle Concours d'Elegance,' the long-standing,
prestigious Los Angeles Concours.
