Subaru Southeast Region Reports End of Month Sales - Record November Sales -

    AUSTELL, Ga., Dec. 1 -- Subaru Southeast Region announced its
November sales figures.  The Southeast Region posted a sales total of 1,564
units for the month, up 7% percent over the same period last year.  Year-to-
date totals are up 8 percent over 1997 year-to-date totals.  November 1998
sales represent the best November sales month for the Subaru Southeast Region.
    Nationally, Subaru recorded a sales total of 13,783 units for the month of
November, its best November sales month in 11 years.  Overall, year-to-date
1998 totals are up 11 percent over the same period in 1997 with November 1998
up 18 percent versus November 1997.
    Subaru of America, Inc./Southeast Region, located in Austell, Ga.,
operates as a regional sales and parts distribution center of Subaru of
America, Inc.  The regional office services 122 retail dealerships throughout
Alabama, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina,
