Nissan Reports November Sales
CARSON, Calif., Dec. 1 -- The Nissan Division of Nissan Motor
Corporation U.S.A. (NMC) today announced November sales of 35,957 units. The
Nissan Altima led the division with sales of 9,259 units, up 8.5 percent
versus last month.
Nissan's flagship sedan, the Maxima, turned in sales of 6,505 units.
Sales of the Nissan Sentra totaled 4,813 units, bringing total sedan sales to
20,577 units, up 6.9 percent versus last month.
The Nissan Frontier lead truck sales with 6,974 units. Pathfinder sales
totaled 4,745 units. Quest reported sales of 2,387 units. Total truck sales
were 14,106 units, up 9.0 percent versus last month.
Nissan Division sales for the month were down 9.6 percent versus last
year. Calendar year-to-date sales for Nissan Division totaled 508,281 units,
down 16.5 percent versus last year. Sales of Nissan's North American-produced
vehicles for November totaled 24,580 units, which represents 68.4 percent of
all Nissan vehicles sold in the United States.
Total NMC sales for November, including Nissan and Infiniti Divisions,
were 42,186 units. Combined calendar year-to-date sales for Nissan and
Infiniti Divisions were 564,911 units.

division, markets and distributes Nissan and Infiniti vehicles in the United
States to more than 1,200 dealers.
