Federal-Mogul Appoints David Krohn, Vice President, Ignition Products, Worldwide
    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Dec. 1 -- Alan C. Johnson, executive vice
president, Powertrain Systems, Federal-Mogul Corporation ,
announces the appointment of David Krohn to the position of vice president,
ignition products, worldwide, effective immediately.
    "Dave is a proven business leader with excellent knowledge of our customer
base," said Johnson.  "I am confident that he will provide great leadership
for the ignition products business on a global basis."
    Prior to this appointment, Krohn held the position of vice president,
heavy-duty operation - Americas, Powertrain Systems.  He joined Federal-Mogul
from the T&N organization where he was president of AE Goetze's - North
Americas business.  Krohn began his career with T&N in 1975, working with
Gould and Clevite Industries as operations manager, and as general manager,
pistons and sleeves with JP Industries.
    Krohn earned a Master of Business Administration degree in management and
finance from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science degree in
business administration and economics from Winona State University, Minnesota.
    Further announcements on the ignition products structure will be made in
the near future.
