ASA Tire Systems Announces Y2K Compliance Year 2000 Readiness Disclosure

    NASHUA, N.H., Nov. 30 -- This is an addendum to the Y2K press
release announced by ASA Tire Systems on September 30, 1998.  Pursuant to the
Year 2000 Information & Readiness Disclosure Act, Public Law 105-271, (the
"Act"), the content of ASA Tire Systems' September 30, 1998 press release is
hereby designated a "Year 2000 Readiness Disclosure," as that term is defined
in the Act.  The Y2K press release issued September 30, 1998 reads as follows:
    "ASA Tire Systems announced today the Year 2000 (Y2K)
compliancy of its product line.  Y2K compliant and supported products include:
ASA's TirePro(R) version 4.61 and higher when used with Progress version 7.3c
and higher, TireMax(R) version 8.5 and higher when used with Synergy DBL
version 6.3 and higher, and TRIMS version 4.5 and higher.  To operate in
compliance requires that a user's hardware and operating system be Y2K
compliant.
    'Users of TirePro, TireMax and TRIMS can be assured that their software
investment is safe, and the software will continue to be instrumental in
helping them successfully move their business into the next millennium,'
confirmed Wayne Croswell, ASA Tire System's President.  'We have been
educating customers about the Y2K bug for nearly a year now, and are committed
to making sure, from a software standpoint, that each ASA customer who
operates a supported product on a Y2K compliant hardware and operating system
