Alamo Rent A Car To Open Locations In ChileAggressive Expansion Plans Continue With New Openings in Santiago and Antofagasta FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 23 -- Alamo Rent A Car, Inc. has entered into a master franchise agreement with Franquicias Internationales Limitada of Santiago, Chile, who own and operate Ervo Rent A Car. The location openings are a part of Alamo's aggressive expansion into Latin America. Under the terms of the agreement, Alamo Chile will open three Alamo locations in Santiago, including one at the Santiago International Airport, as well as a downtown office in Antofagasta, which is located in northern Chile. In addition, over the next two years, Alamo will establish a countrywide network of Alamo locations located in the major Chilean tourist destinations, including Iquique, Vina del Mar, Concepcion, Puerto Montt and Punta Arenas. "Chile offers leisure travelers a wide variety of climates, different geographies and historic sites which attract thousands of tourists every year," said Karen Beard, president, Alamo Rent A Car.
