DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of November 23
    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 19 -- DaimlerChrysler Corporation
reports eight of its nine U.S. assembly plants and all three
Canadian assembly plants will operate the week of November 23, 1998.  All U.S.
plants will not operate on Thursday and Friday, November 26 & 27 due to the
Thanksgiving holiday.
    Jefferson-North (Detroit, Mich.) will operate three seven-and-a-half hour
shifts during the week.  Dodge City Complex-Warren Truck (Mich.), St. Louis-
South (Fenton, Mo.), Sterling Heights (Mich.), and Toledo (Ohio) will operate
two eight-hour shifts.  St.Louis-North (Fenton, Mo.) will operate two nine-
hour shifts. Conner Ave. (Mich.) will operate one eight-hour shift.  Newark
(Del.) will operate two nine-and-a-half hour shifts during the week and two
eight-hour shifts on Saturday, November 21.  Belvidere (Illinois) will not
operate due to model changeover.
    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea will operate three seven-and-a-half hour
shifts during the week and three seven-and-a-half hour shifts on Saturday,
November 21.  The Windsor Assembly Plant will operate three seven-and-a-half
hour shifts.  Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts.
