Cooper Names Bajenski Vice President, Investor RelationsHOUSTON, Nov. 16 -- Richard J. Bajenski has been appointed Vice President of Investor Relations for Cooper Industries . In this position, he is responsible for directing the company's overall communications with the investment community and developing value-creating relationships with analysts and investors. He continues to report to D. Bradley McWilliams, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Bajenski, 46, had been Director of Investor Relations prior to this promotion. He started with Cooper in 1981 as a member of the corporate planning department and has held other corporate management positions. Before joining Cooper, Bajenski held financial analysis posts with Ford Motor Company and Occidental Petroleum Company. He is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute and is a past president of the Houston Chapter of this organization. Additionally, he serves as co-chair of the investor relations council of the Manufacturers Alliance. Bajenski holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from the University of Akron and a M.B.A. from New York University, where he attended with a Baker scholarship.
