SCHAUMBURG, Ill., Nov. 13 -- Clarion Technologies, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: CTCH) today announced the appointment of Timothy R. Kline
as president and chief operating officer of Clarion Plastics Technologies,
Inc., its wholly-owned operating subsidiary based in Montpelier, Ohio. He
fills the position formerly held by Edward A. Dobosz, who was promoted to
chief executive officer with primary responsibility for strategic planning and
acquisitions.
Commenting on the appointments, chairman and chief executive officer Troy
D. Wiseman said, "Tim Kline is a 23-year veteran of the injection molded
plastics industry and is one of the most widely known and highly regarded
executives in that field. During his career he headed production teams that
earned quality accolades and honors from a broad array of leading global
manufacturers, including the prestigious TQE award from Ford Motor Co. and
quality awards from Honda, Nissan, Saturn, Subaru-Isuzu and GM, and received
'Processor of the Year' honors from Plastics News, a trade publication which
many regard as the bible of our industry.
"Ed Dobosz spent nearly 30 years with Navistar International Corp., and
brings a broad portfolio of experience from the strategic side of our
business," Wiseman continued. "His demonstrated management capabilities and
in-depth market knowledge bring important balance to the production team we've
attracted in Montpelier. We are extremely pleased and gratified that these
executives have joined Clarion Plastics."
Kline began his career in 1975 at the former Bryan Custom Plastics
division of United Screw & Bolt Corporation. While at that company he was
promoted to a series of increasingly responsible positions, including
finishing manager (1982), manufacturing manager (1987), vice president and
general manager (1991) and culminating with president in 1997. He joins
Clarion Plastics Technologies from JAC Products, a worldwide leader in roof
racksystems and the leading full-service supplier of various exterior
components, where he held the post of president.
Dobosz has more than 35 years of experience in both consumer and capital
goods products. From 1966 to 1996 he was with Navistar International, where he
held various key positions including director of finance, director of product
planning and director of purchasing. Prior to joining Clarion Plastics
Technologies, Dobosz served as president and chief operating officer of
Consolidated Metal Products, a component supplier to light-, medium- and
heavy-duty truck, trailer and parts markets.
Clarion Plastics Technologies, Inc. is a full-service custom injection
molding and assembly company, manufacturing and marketing a wide range of
finished products to a variety of leading industries. It is the principal
