Excaliber Environmental Receives NYSERDA Grant

NEW YORK--Nov. 12, 1998--Excaliber Environmental, a company specializing in developing and manufacturing alternative fuel-conversion systems for motor vehicles, Thursday announced that it has received from the New York State Energy and Development Authority (NYSERDA) a $50,000 initial grant to help fund the establishment of a factory for the commercial scale production of alternative fuel regulators.
The grant was made under NYSERDA's program to help fund energy- related companies to establish manufacturing facilities and create jobs in New York state. The current grant follows last year's NYSERDA investment in Excaliber's technology.
"We are pleased with NYSERDA's ongoing support of our operations and the positive feedback we are receiving in the market," said Sandro Paterno, president.
Excaliber Environmental, with headquarters in Staten Island, N.Y., was founded to develop bi-fuel conversion kits and regulators. The company has produced the only EPA-certified bi-fuel conversion kit currently on the market.
