Chrysler Completes Pension Contribution

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 9 -- Chrysler Corporation
announced today that it has completed the contribution of 23.5 million shares
of common stock to Chrysler's pension plans.  Chrysler reissued these shares,
which had been held in its treasury, to enable the planned Chrysler/Daimler-
Benz business combination to qualify for pooling-of-interest accounting
treatment.
