Goodyear's Website Now Has a Latin Flavor
    AKRON, Ohio, Nov. 6 -- Goodyear's award-winning website,
http://www.goodyear.com, is adding another page -- with a Latin flavor.
    Goodyear today added content for its South American subsidiaries in
Colombia, Chile and Jamaica to its website.  "We are a global company, and the
addition of content for Goodyear-Colombia is just the first step in adding our
other eight Latin America Region countries to our website on the internet,"
said Pamela Bertino, Goodyear's global Web site manager.
    The design and creation of the Goodyear Colombia page was coordinated by
the company's in-house web team of Bertino and Laura Casenhiser, with
assistance from Eduardo Arguelles, sales and marketing manager for Goodyear
Latin America.
    "We are completing pages for our remaining eight countries in Latin
America," said Arguelles, "and we hope to complete the process by the end of
the year."
    Goodyear launched its original site in March, 1995 and an updated version
in November 1997.  Since that time, the company has received several awards
for its website including recognition from Dow Jones; Interactive Age
magazine; Crains Cleveland Business; NetMarketing 200 and others.
