Chrysler Reports International Sales
    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 4 -- Chrysler Corporation
announced that total international sales outside of North America were down 23
percent for the month of October, with 15,125 units sold compared to 19,556
units sold one year ago.
    Chrysler's European sales were 7,944 units, a 1 percent increase over
sales of 7,883 units last year.  Other regions include Latin America, with
3,747 units sold, a 25 percent decrease from last year, Asia Pacific, with
2,475 units sold, a 51 percent decrease and Middle East/Africa, with 959 units
sold, a 42 percent decrease.
    Total international sales year-to-date are down 15 percent, with 167,386
vehicles sold in 1998 compared to 196,866 sold during the same period in 1997.
