    INDIANAPOLIS--Nov. 4, 1998--Celadon Group, Inc. , the leading truckload transportation services provider from the United States and Canada to Mexico, announced today that its Celadon Trucking Services, Inc. subsidiary has been elected a member of CANACAR, Mexico's trucking association.
    The Company said that it was awarded membership as a result of its long-time commitment to serving the Mexican market and its cooperation with and support of the goals and objectives of the Mexican trucking industry.
    Michael Archual, Celadon's Executive Vice President -- Mexico, stated, "The distinction CANACAR has provided Celadon is recognition of both organizations' total commitment to the advancement of Mexico as a key NAFTA trading partner. Celadon is privileged to be a member of such a noble and committed organization."
